So Sam has taught us the true meaning of the phrase "mala leche" (which translated literally is "bad milk"). In Spain, the phrase is used to describe someone who is pissy, upset, unkind, or angry. Sam has definitely had some "mala leche" this week.
Hopefully happier times are ahead for the little "chaval."

Poor Sam! Better times are on the way, I'm sure! You're still great parents--Sam should be happy to have you. :)
There is a grammatical error in this post. "So Sam has taught Becky and I the true meaning of the phrase 'mala leche'" should be "So Sam has taught Becky and me. . ."
