Sam is now one year old! Tough to believe that one year ago he arrived on the scene on a smoggy night in Tarzana, California. To celebrate one year, Becky made this birthday cake at 8,000 feet.
But Sam didn't seem to mind that his first birthday cake fell victim to the thin air. He enjoyed it all the same.

Happy Big 1 to Sam! Wow, they grow up so fast! I think Becky's cake looks scrumptious. My cake baking skills can't be blamed on altitude. They're quite atrocious, but luckily, children are forgiving!
